Tulpe & Toast

I'm a repeat customer, and I've been very happy with everything I tried in this cute and friendly café. It's suited for vegans, as all the dishes come in a plant based option. I especially recommend the toasties and waffles.

Ordered a tomato and mozzarella toast, an oat milk flat white. The coffee was good, but too diluted, the flavour profile was that of a nice Arabica, slightly chocolatey. The toast was very very good, the tomatoes were very fresh, there was a amount of fresh mozzarella in it as well, the combination with the very tasty, bakery-style toast bread was very spectacular and very delicious.

Coffee is good here! And so are the breakfast options! They have a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options. And this is my recent favourite places. Service is also great!

Best cafe I've tried in Cologne (and I've tried a lot). The latte had the right size and temperature. The toasty's are legendary! The cake is unreal! The service are friendly personal and professional at the same time. Really nice place!

Service was very welcoming and attentive. It’s a small café and if you are a bigger person there is unfortunately not enough space to sit comfortably without feeling in the way. The food options differ in quality: We had a side salad (good), vegan/vegetarian sandwiches (excellent, highly recommend!), vegan belgian waffle (not to our liking) and tea (the one I had was bland, but I saw they had fresh tea on the menue as well, so my bad for not taking one of those options). We found it was rather pricey, but then again it’s cologne and ehrenfeld.. so it’s not overpriced in comparison in my opinion. Since the sandwiches were excellent we might go there again for a quick visit.

Lovely café decorated with love. It’s a very convenient location in Ehrenfeld/Neu-Ehrenfeld. Directly on the Main Street with free parking around. Owner is passionate about what she is doing. I can’t wait to try the vegan food So far I can only review the atmosphere, service and coffee. Coffee is great (even though it’s not from one of the well known brands from Cologne) and so is the service. Oatly oat milk without extra charge. Nicely decorated and with a few high tables as well as normal seats and tables. Daily changing menu includes toasts, breads (Stullen) and home made soups and salads as well as cakes and waffles! So many vegan options
